Paints & Coatings Systems

MFC Paste offers the advantage of concentrated use in paint and coating systems thanks to its high solids content. It provides rheological structure in paint and coating formulations, ensures sag control with its thixotropic behavior, stabilizes pigment dispersion, and enhances film durability. Its high concentration also provides logistical and storage benefits.

Dispersion Note:
Due to its high solids content, it is recommended that MFC Paste be dispersed with high-speed mixers before being added to formulations. This ensures full activation of the gel structure and homogeneous distribution.

Advantages:

  1. Rheology Control and Viscosity Increase
    • Provides high viscosity even at low dosage
    • Rapid viscosity recovery after application thanks to its thixotropic structure
    • Easy spreading in spray, roller, and brush applications due to strong shear thinning
  2. Pigment Dispersion and Stabilization
    • Ensures homogeneous pigment distribution
    • Prevents sedimentation and phase separation, extending shelf life
  3. Film Formation and Surface Durability
    • Forms a strong and flexible film
    • Improves crack and scratch resistance
  4. Logistics and Storage Advantage
    • High concentration provides cost savings in transportation and storage
